The Albino Heckelii (Acarichthys Heckelii ‘Albino’) is a calmer species. They will not usually eat small fish. Any territorial or aggressive species should be avoided. Though they are not eartheaters, a sandy substrate is ideal. They are known to dig through the gravel, so plan according when aquascaping the tank. The female is responsible for creating the breeding area. Once complete she will attract a mate and lay the eggs. However, they are cave spawners; if you desire to breed the fish, make sure there is a cave with several entrances, with only one leading to the inner most part.
